4 Arrested for Alleged Nazi Tribute Outside Hitler's Birthplace in Austria

The group of Germans posed for photos, with one performing a Hitler salute, police say

Four Germans were caught laying white roses in memory of Adolf Hitler at the house where the Nazi dictator was born in western Austria on the anniversary of his birth, and one gave a Hitler salute as they posed for photos, police said Monday.

Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn. After lengthy wrangling over the future of the house where he was born, work started last year on turning it into a police station — a project meant to make it unattractive as a pilgrimage site for people who glorify Hitler.

Police in Upper Austria province said the four Germans — two sisters and their partners, in their 20s and early 30s — went to the building on Saturday to lay white roses in its window recesses. They posed in front of the house for photos and one of the women gave the stiff-armed Hitler salute.

They should have said they’re from Ukraine.

Then it would have been OK.

Only real Nazis today are Putin’s Russia

They’re the only ones attacking & invading neighboring countries without any provocation - just like the Nazis did

If Hitler had only been a Confederate leader, his birthplace would already have been torn down.

“They should have said they’re from Ukraine. Then it would have been OK.”

Yep, my first thought. We’ve already shown that if they celebrated Ukrainian Stepan Bandera, they’d be HEROES in the US and Europe (except Poland, as they’re still pissed at the 500,000 or so Poles that he also killed).

Do you believe in the idea that maybe to formulate a realistic/true perception, you should base your view on some basic facts?

We have, not in war but as a matter of routine, roughly 180,000 troops stationed outside our border: https://www.aljazeera.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/INTERACTIVE-US-military-presence-around-the-world.png?w=770&resize=770%2C770&quality=80

***You live in a feel good world that is not rooted in the physical reality which is happening around you.

The US has been a powerhouse militarily for a long time, and we once were a force for good, however, things have changed.

1. Post Cold War, we were left as the ONLY super power on this planet, China is even today an emerging power and when the Warsaw Pact and Soviet Union imploded, we were it. With unprecedented power and no challenger, the military (use of force) quickly became the “go-to” for US policy makers that could achieve both quick results and without any repercussions (example: Serbia). If you do not want to accept or believe that, just look at Lindsey Graham and what he advocated regards Mexico recently! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UD4kFxyHALo He's talking about invading and then later just attacking a neighbor that poses zero true threat to us, a NAFTA member. And his reason? It sounds good. Like Caesar taking Gaul, it boosts his popularity among a certain demographic. Because we have become “all-powerful” and our economic, political and military might is behind us, we no longer care about breaking treaties, flat our lying and cheating... We basically do whatever we want.

https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/john_dalbergacton_109401

2. Post 9-11 the US dramatically changed. As a matter of policy, and in secret, things that were unimaginable prior, became accepted practice: extraordinary rendition (i.e. kidnapping), enhanced interrogations (i.e. torture), assassinations... We aimed our intelligence service inward and began mass surveillance programs targeting the US public (Patriot Act). We expanded our presence overseas and became far more assertive, especially in the use on unconventional forces and operations. We began overthrowing governments and installing folks we wanted in power like never before (example: Arab Spring).

We are not the United States of Ronald Reagan, faced with an existential threat, (((powerful but defensive))), standing for freedom, democracy, transparency, and human rights.

We are today often the antagonist: offensive, expeditionary, motivated by economic or political interests, using dubious and questionable methods, lying about it and keeping secrets, mass censoring, using what can be described as “propaganda” (government information operations to influence perceptions), propping up dictators and overthrowing democratically elected governments that are not in line with our interests (Maiden in Ukraine, Maduro in Venezuela). We are the ones pushing a secular and globalist world order today.

Do you realize, that Iraq, Syria, Libya and Venezuela, all nations where we invaded or sponsored coups in post 2001, are also all nations that are aligned or formal allies with Russia, that all of them are also major oil and gas producers? Do you realize that in Libya, the jets of all major US oil firms were there before the body of Qaddafi even cooled off? Or that today you have US troops guarding oil fields in Syria? Do you really think our motivation is about “democracy, human rights and sovereignty?”

We today attempt to create a "just-war" argument for every military intervention we engage in, but frankly it has become tacky, corny, unbelievable and is often factually proven false as with Iraq where we made a WMD argument.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just_war_theory The only military intervention post 1991 (out of 251) where this argument holds and is air tight, is our invasion of Afghanistan post 9-11.

***We are today very close to being everything we once stood against and referred to as an “evil empire.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do0x-Egc6oA (when you listen to this, ask yourself who is pushing the atheist, globalist, cause today? Who is willing to use force at the drop of a dime to achieve their end?)

Times change, and sometimes folks don't realize that somehow over time, it is they that have become the bad guy even though it was never their intent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLmuF-0P4tk

As we violate treaties left and right, break promises we did make but now deny, simply leave treaties that we no longer like, invade four of Russia’s allies, want to build bases along their border after we basically cause a BS revolt and get rid of a government we didn’t like in Ukraine, install our own folks, and over power them about 2:1 in military personnel (4:1 if alliances are compared) and 10:1 in budget (16:1 if alliances are compared)... it doesn’t seem odd to you to be the one pretending like we’re the one defending and victims of Russian aggression?

When we invade countries that have an economic value to us, and use the same BS arguments over and over, democracy, human rights, WMD, sovereignty; BUT install dictators, and don’t mind the PRC, Saudi Arabia, Jordan which we prop up or manufacture everything in, do you really believe our cause to be genuine?

Funny thing:

In the 70s-91 when we were defensive and were fighting for freedom, you had the political left shout slogans like “no blood for oil.” You had the political left talk about American hegemony, imperialism, demanding a measured approach and dialog.

Today you have the left in power, no one is shouting anything, there is no dialog, and we actually are using our military to advance our economic interest.

But I can’t complain to much. After October 2021 I invested and made a good return. So I guess in a bigger picture I’m part of the problem.
