He lost the Republican nomination that year to Mehmet Oz by fewer than 1,000 votes — and Oz lost the general election to now-Sen. John Fetterman (D). But McCormick has coalesced GOP support behind his candidacy this year and is unopposed for the nomination.

I think most everyone here knew that Oz would lose his bid, and that McCormick was the better candidate.

I think we should get Conor Lamb to run as a republican against Fetterman in ‘28. The way Pelosi forced him to vote hard left cost him the nomination. A potential rino? Think Toomey, Specter,Ridge, even Santorum in his later years.
