IMO the left doesn’t actually want any of this crap, this is all an attempt to move the overton window on gays in general.
Basically the theory is: if you want Americans to accept gays, you push transmen playing womens sports, and trans men in womens bathrooms. And then suddenly just accepting gay marriage seems reasonable by comparison.
I have a lot of sympathy for trannys because there are actually good percentage of fairly decent trans people.
