“America Last, America Last! – That’s All This Is – Every Single Day!”- MTG Delivers Speech for the Ages Prior to Ukraine War Funding Vote

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene delivered a speech for the ages in defense of the American working class on Saturday morning before the Ukraine war funding vote in the US House of Representatives.

MTG is a rare voice in Congress who actually defends the American working class from the uniparty regime.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: Mr. Speaker, I have an amendment at the desk.

House leader: The clerk will designate the amendment.

House Clerk: Amendment number 2, print it in part B of House Report number 118-466, offered by Ms. Green of Georgia. Pursuant to House Resolution 1160, the gentlewoman from Georgia, Ms. Green and a member opposed. Each will control five minutes. The chair now recognizes the gentlewoman from Georgia.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: Thank you, Mr. Speaker. My amendment today would drive the amendment, the bill for Ukraine, take each dollar amount in this act, is hereby reduced to zero.

You see, the United States’ taxpayer has already sent $113 billion to Ukraine, and a lot of that money is unaccounted for. This is a continuance of a sick business model that the American government continues. The federal government continues to fund the military-industrial complex This is a business model that requires Congress to continue to vote for money, to continue to fund foreign wars. This is a business model the American people do not support. They don’t support a business model built on blood and murder and war in foreign countries, while this very government does nothing to secure our border. The American people are over $34 trillion in debt, and the debt is rising by over $40 billion every single night while we all sleep. But yet nothing is done to secure our border or reduce our debt.

Inflation has driven out of control. Americans are suffering every single day. They can hardly afford their grocery bills. They can hardly afford gas in their car. They can hardly afford rent. Now, mortgage payments are well over $3,000, where they were only just over $1,700 three years ago.

The youngest generation, young adults, don’t even think going to be able to buy a home in their lifetime. Today in Congress, the most important thing that this body thinks should be done is to send another $61 billion to a war in Ukraine that the American people by 70% do not support. Mind you, this comes on the very heels of Monday being April 15th, Tax Day, where every single American had to scrounge up their money and send their dollars in to the IRS, or some of them had to file extensions because they weren’t ready and didn’t have the money to pay their taxes. But today this body says the most important thing we can do, no, is not reduce spending. That’s not it. Not to do anything to drive down inflation. Oh, no, we can’t do that for the American people. It’s not to secure our own border that is invaded every single day, every single day by people from over 160 different countries. No, don’t secure the American border. Let everyone in. We have over 1.8 million known God aways. We don’t know who these people are. And yet you have members of this body Talking big and tough about, Oh, we have to defeat Russia.

Oh, we have to protect Ukraine. But yet all of you are unwilling to protect the American citizens that pay your paycheck, pay the light bills in this building, and pay for this entire federal government. For what? For nothing.

Ukraine is not even a member of NATO. Ukraine is not a member of NATO. But the most important thing you hear in Washington, DC, is, ‘Oh, we have to spend Americans hard-earned tax dollars over to Ukraine and keep the money going to continue to murder Ukrainians, wipe out an entire generation of Ukrainian men so that they are widows, they are fatherless orphans, there are not enough men to work in their industries.’ Oh, but you really support Ukraine. Wow, what support is that? It’s repulsive. You know, shame on the American government. Shame on the American government. If we support our military, support our military. We should be funded to build up our weapons and ammunition, not to send it over to foreign countries to kill foreign peoples. If this body was worth what it claims to be what it is, every single one of us would be demanding peace in Ukraine between these countries, peace for these people so that no more of them have to die.

But you never hear anybody demanding peace. No, no, no, no. Peace is the last thing Washington wants because it doesn’t fit the business model. This is a business model that they say continues our economy protects American jobs. What a disgusting business model. We should have a business model that builds up our American companies and American jobs to serve American interests and our military and our government should care about protecting the national security of the United States of America and the Americans that pay their hard-earned tax dollars to fund all of this. America last. America last. That’s all this is. Every single day, America last.

House clerk: Generalwoman’s time has expired.

Marjorie Taylor Greene: I yield.

The House then immediately voted down her Ukraine bill in a voice vote. They wouldn’t even go on record with their vote.

They want their wars.

Every vote in Congress should be on the record. Ditch the voice vote nonsense.

She’s right if they cared so much about peace they would demand a cease fire in Ukraine but they don’t instead they demand that Israel has a cease fire gee why is that, simple because both sides are making so much money off that bogus war

Ukraine’s complete and utter contempt for Americans is
evidenced by the changing stories we’re being spoon fed.

How ludicrous is this.......?
<><>Zelensky keeps telling us they’re “on the verge” of winning
<><>”if only” we’d give ‘em several more billions.
<><>Zelensky brags they’re really doing a job on bad ol’ Putin.....
<><>they’re impoverishing him, while “shooting down every Russian thing in sight”..........

But wait for the switcheroo, gang.......now “they say” by witholding our tax dollars, poor decrepit Russia w/ its badly depleted military is gonna “march in and takeover Europe, the Balkans, Poland....even all of NATO.” Which will demand US boots on the ground.

Which is it nitwits? Make up your frickin’ minds.

(A) Speech for the Ages.

Right up there with Patrick Henry’s “Give me liberty or give me death” and Churchill’s “Blood, sweat, and tears.”

I missed MTG - thanks for posting.

Watching the speeches now...some to make a person pretty sick....interesting - Republicans for and Democrats against..an oddity for sure. When are they ever going to get the line item veto passed? Yeah, I know - it has to be written first. This bill surely needs it...everything but the kitchen sink in it...

Those dem women are pretty hard on the eyes. I left the room when Sheila Jackson Lee got up to speak - reminds me too much of “Gorillas in the Mist.”

DeLauro, Wasserman-Shultz, Jackson Lee!!! More than anyone should be asked to tolerate...

Johnson and the Republican establishment enriching themselves and their special interest groups by running up debt, using our foreign policy to feed the defense industry and benefit oligarch class and allowing open borders to appease business interests IS every bit as big a problem as anything the Democrats are doing.

In fact, those are the three Holy Grails of the Swamp. It's the three things the establishments of both parties agree on. And, that kind of corruption is biggest threat to this people of this country.

All that is why the Republican establishment has consistently tried to undermine Trump because he's a threat to end business as usual by the political elite.

ONLY ELECTING MAGA Republicans will change things, ones dedicating to doing what's best for the country rather than enriching themselves will change things.

Republicans are not our friends.

They campaign like they will do something about our concerns and get in power and do the same things.

So says a Republican operator trying to undermine one of the few voices in Congress actually doing anything to stand up for the base of the party.

You and your ilk are as much the enemy as any Democrat.

We're not going back to Bush Republicanism.

Soros is in on this.........as usual.

theatlantic.com

Eli Lake of The Atlantic reported the shocking fact that George Soros, the billionaire investor whose outspoken hostility to Israel and Zionism is no secret, is in fact one of the Israeli lobby, J Street’s, larger donors........ even though J Street has “denied,” time and time again, that Soros was a supporter.

snip

The Senate’s passage of the Biden funding bill made George Soros very happy.
Is this another source of income for Soros, for his financing lefties in the US govt?

J Street Lobby exhorts supporters——
“On Friday, October 20th, 2023, the Biden Administration sent a Supplemental Funding Request to the Congress that contains key priorities for the American Jewish community:

Please urge your federal elected officials to take action by sending an email below or picking up the phone to call using the script at the end of this form. Your advocacy will help ensure Congress passes the Supplemental Budget Request, which includes the following:

<><>$14.3 Billion in Emergency assistance to Israel: This emergency assistance will bolster Israel’s ability to defend herself and replenish vital defense systems, including the Iron Dome and David’s Sling missile defense programs.

<><>Increased Funding for FEMA’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP): Jewish communities are in a state of elevated readiness and have already been forced to increase their security measure. FEMA’s Nonprofit “Security Grant Program” helps ensure the safety and security of Jewish and other faith-based community institutions. The increased funding included in Biden’s Supplemental Budget Request will help bolster our Jewish community’s capacity to protect itself at this challenging time.

<><>$61.4 Billion in Emergency Assistance to Ukraine: The J Street Lobby stands in solidarity with Ukraine and supports efforts to strengthen its democracy in the face of aggression. This funding will aid Ukraine’s efforts to safeguard its democracy and protect its citizens. Jewish Federations are actively engaged in supporting the Ukrainian people—including by resettling over 2,600 displaced Ukrainians across the United States—and we seek continued U.S. support for these critical efforts.”

Reference-——
J street Lobby Policy on the US-Israel Special Relationship
(with the financial help of $750 million from George Soros).

J Street believes that maintaining a strong, vibrant US-Israel relationship is a core American interest. We want to see a secure, thriving Israel that is a healthy democracy, a national home for the Jewish people and a state for all its citizens that embodies the shared values that have long formed the heart of the special relationship between our two countries. We believe that American diplomatic leadership has an important role to play in helping to make this vision a reality, as does cooperation in (financing) Israel’s security, economic, technological, academic and civil society spheres.
WIKI-—Confidential IRS documents obtained by The Washington Times in 2010 showed that George Soros had been a donor to J Street since 2008. The approximately $750,000 from Soros and his family, together with donations from Hong Kong-based businesswoman Ms. Consolacion Esdicul, amounted to about 15% of J Street’s funding in its early years.
In previous statements and on its web site J Street had seemed to deny receiving support from foreign interests and from Soros.

J Street’s Jeremy Ben-Ami apologized for earlier “misleading” statements regarding the lobby’s funding from Soros. Ben-Ami also clarified that donors to 501(c)(4) organizations are promised confidentiality by law and challenged critics to make public the contributions from opposing organizations.

The world according to Marjorie doesn't work.
