If you go to a foreign Spanish speaking land their little stores can be bodegas.

It's a little late now. It's been used for about 50 years now in NYC and other places.

Should we also send the word boutique back to France?

I’m afraid Dr. Jill’s shrill, ultra-cringe “bodegas” shout-out put the word in the American vocabulary. Another gift from the Bidens.
