I don't mean to defend Trump's attorneys but that judgement had zero to do with the law or Trump's representation and everything to do with corruption and acute TDS. That judgment was predetermined before the trial even started. I hope that Trump's Attorney General handles these election interference cases properly after Trump is elected.
The way I think of it - If some southern DA and judge got together and decided to try Obama, would Obama be in court every day defending himself?
No, it wouldn't happen.
So how is this different?
There are guardrails and constitutional protections.
When I see his attorneys arguing some fine point of law I think: “This is stupid”
They are playing by the democrats’ rules. It's foolish. Stop thinking stupid.
