Are we in the West still doing that thing where we spend millions and millions to shoot down enemy drones that cost them a fraction of that and also can’t make enough go jeep up with what we are shooting off at the drones?

Seems like drone needs a steady gun platform with low stall speed, enough speed and range to reach an ammo load worth of targets, enough comm and electronics so that other tech can guide it and proper ammo. P51s would be fun but probably are overkill, but WWII prices and production speed should be possible.
I wonder how many of those Iranian missiles we paid for.
