I remember the term: The British fleet is sailing at “Diplomatic Speed” towards the Falklands. I think it was Haig trying to prevent a shooting war during that time...but no luck. Back then, the UK actually MAINTAINED their military hardware, so they did wind up winning.
As far as I remember the presence of a British ship... scared the ..Argentinians.
If you want something to happen, task Haig with stopping it.
