Look at the conservative states that are voting to allow abortion. Like gay marriage, the landscape changed quickly.

Someone with common sense.

DeSantis wasn't for a total ban in FL.

Wow, so you’re going to try to use Lake’s latest complete capitulation on abortion as a reason to attack DeSantis, out of the blue? Ok, fine, I know that’s all that some people want to do. And it’s true DeSantis hasn’t come out in support of a 100% abortion ban. But he’s always been pro life, and his policies and laws in Florida are close to a 100% ban, as close as any state has come.

Lake on the other hand, is flip flopping on abortion, once again. How many times in her life is it now? Not only that, but she now even wants to partner with Democrats to block the new pro life ruling in Az, which isn’t just theater, but putting actual lives at risk. But you’d rather attack DeSantis than discuss that, obviously.

I’m going to call BS on people who fling around the “R” word (RINO) when they express contempt for Republicans who stray from the doctrinaire conservative position that we like, yet find ways of justifying divergence from the Good and Pure when we are in their camp. Lake and Trump have both taken shots at a state law which Republican legislators have supported. If their names were switched McConnell and Murkoswki they’d be villified and run out of town.

If you can't see the difference between the strategies ofLake/Trump and McConnell/Murkowski then you are beyond help.

There was a time when flip flopping was seen as something not good. Now we’re championing it?

What good is political power, if you’ve already conceded and abandoned your core issues and beliefs in order to gain power?

So both Lake and DeSantis are against a 100% ban. Got it.

“Kari wants to be a winner. Nothing wrong with that.”

Somehow, I suspect that God has a completely different concept of what that “winner” actually means.

Hypocrites, got what they wanted, now want to do away with it just as quickly. All talk, not prepared for success as it was just a money scam. True for all supposed pro-life candidates that now want to embrace abortion. Do they really think this will win them votes?!

What strategy are you referring to?

McConnell and Murkowski haven’t attacked the Arizona law. Graham has defended it. But they’re RINOs?

(N.B.: I’m speaking only to the issue of the Arizona anti-abortion law. Who, to your mind, is espousing the RINO position?)

Only a fool who doesn’t truly care about the pro-life issue would attempt to make such an asinine equivalency between DeSantis and Lake on abortion. Yes I said it, because there’s is no other way to describe your ridiculous failed attempt at an analogy. You’re trying to defend and prop up Lake’s support of abortion and tear down DeSantis’s strong opposition to it in one fell swoop. Well it’s clearly ridiculous and I thought better of you, but that was quite the expose you displayed for everyone.

No. Conservatives in the electorate need to quit f ing depending on government and politicians to change the hearts and minds of the hard headed birth control it’s in the electorate and get to work

People are communists. They want laws and politicians in power to kindly start being moral and to change people by ruling pro life

Then they hate trump

Then they want Trump alone with the help of lake, gaetz and green to change the laws then the minds of the electorate

They want Trump to be a dictator on this

Get a clue about how our government is supposed to work and quit depending on government

Look at the pre amble. If you don’t have a copy in your house- and if you don’t you need to stop posting ignorance- the people rule this country. The people want abortion

A presidential or senate candidate is not going to change their minds. It is their peers and elders who will do that. Cultural material, teachers, etc.

You make absolutely no logical point. Instead you spew emotional nonsense when I point out your inconsistency. My point, now in bold, stands.

If its that far gone, its gone already. I don’t think its worthwhile and it is foolish to compromise on a intrinsic human right to life.

Yes I did. Your failed attempt at equating Lake and DeSantis on abortion positions is completely illogical, as they are clearly diametrically opposed in general. It shows you care little to nothing about the actual issue, or principle, and care only about the personalities involved.
