I also wondered the same thing about Wisconsin’s congressional district 1 and Paul Ryan.
And Ohio’s congressional district 11 and John Boehner.
Do the Republican voters in those districts realize how corrupt McCarthy, Ryan and Boehner were? Would they vote for them again?

It seems that the speakers are always compromised. Something very wacky going on with Johnson.
I don’t necessarily think Johnson is wacky, it’s typical of someone who before they are in charge boast of all the great things they would do if they became Speaker, now all of a sudden, Johnson is speaker and he realizes that managing the Republicans is like herding cats, it’s impossible, especially with a very small majority where 5-10 people can control the entire house.
Now the Republicans have normalized motions to vacate the chair and remove any Speaker they don’t like, this can all be done by a very small number of people.
What a crock.
The Dems legislate as Dems & liberals. They stick together.
RINOs legislate...as Dems & liberals. If RINOs face resistance, they bolt and threaten to turn the House over to the Dems.

You basically confirmed what I said, if Johnson governs like RINO, he gets motions filed by MTG seeking his removal, if he governs like a Freedom Caucus member, he would get threatened with removal by the RINOs, it’s basically an impossible job.
Conversely, Nancy Pelosi despite her extreme liberal views got the Democrats inline and controlled them, remember AOC and the Squad got elected, they made all kinds of promises of change in leadership, as soon as they got to Washington, Pelosi got them inline, they can say whatever stupid things they want, so long as they vote how she tells them.
