We all know the Republican party has been worthless for decades. If a Democrat finds himself living in a "red" state, and want's to run for office, he becomes a "Republican" *wink* *wink*.
And of course there are plenty of sanctimonious "Republicans" who will give you a libertarian spiel yadda yadda yadda.
