COULD NOT PUT OUT THE FIRE aboard USS Bonhomme Richard, when the ship was dockside at San Diego with the abundance of fire fighters, fire fighting gear, and water.
No. You’re not really.
I staff the paperwork for the contracts, including breakouts to subcontractors and also getting the hourly rates approved.
Yesterday's post, but very true to those that live the Navy life. Or what was the Navy life.
Ping out to the Daniel Greenfield Ping! List.
As always, please FReepmail me if you want on or off the esteemed Daniel Greenfield ping list.

You're right but their excuse is lead poisoning.
Hmm. We're having problems with forever chemicals in our water supply.
As an ex-military wife, mom, grandmother and widow, I agree wholeheartedly with you.
I finished a couple of history books on WWII in the Pacific Theater and I think we will never see that caliber of men on ships again. Viet Nam was almost as good, as far as men were concerned because of their role models, though VN was more of a ground war.
Then came the pacifists who thought their parents were the enemy, and that brings us to today. We need to bring back God in everything we do, every place we work, and never forget to defend the Constitution of the USA! (So let it be said, so let it be done. -- Yul Brynner as Pharoah)

You know, I have been thinking about this lately with respect to defending our nation. (Really defending it, not going to war over something like Ukraine)
I am not sure our country has that anymore. The Left has worked hard, very hard, to vilify our country in the eyes of our youth.
If something came up, say we had to go to war for a valid reason...would we be able to raise a military?
I am not sure we would. And that cuts me to the bone (if you see my Freep Page, you would, I think, understand why)
And by the way-thank you for your service as a military wife. The spouses of military personnel have never received the recognition due, because that can be a hard road in life. There are separations, disagreements over responsibilities, finances, child rearing, you name it. My parents went through it all and came out on the other side, as you sound you did.
God Bless you and yours, FRiend.
No. Our treasury is empty. We are full tilt printing and stealing money. When your accounting is digital debasing the currency is fre and instantaneous.
Now everybody in the Navy “respect’s” each other’s pronouns
..... But They Can’t Figure Out How to Build Ships.

DEI and the Woke mentality have also infected Boeing and their contractors. The negative manifestations are evident across all segments of society and it’s all very deliberate Communist subversion.
I loved my life as a military wife. I wouldn’t have traded those years for anything. Nothing as glamorous as your parents had, I’m sure. Thank you for your kind words. And for your own service as a “Navy brat.” The kids have to serve right next to mom, and that’s not always an easy job.
I think this country would raise up in arms if nothing else, against our own selfish leftist government. It may be the only way the Constitution is saved, and saving the Constitution is the only way our government, as it was intended to stand, will survive.
Along the coast I guess.
Ships must have three “heads”; men, women and not sure.
I thought the ships had to have 52 heads and there was no room left for an engine.
But I wouldn't trade it for the world.
My dad was serving on a destroyer over in Korea, and in 1952 he proposed to my mom using a ship-to-shore telephone connection (which in those days I believe involved a Ham Radio operator ashore) and told her "Marry me and we'll see the world together!)
Which she did...they did...and we all did.
You might enjoy this link below this picture of us on part of our "journey" and shows my dad driving us through Europe in a rented VW bus...note all the camping gear tied to the roof!
Odyssey of A Navy Family (From "All Hands Magazine"
All Hands" magazine was the official public affairs publication of the US Navy, and they published this article after it was submitted.
I give my mom and dad credit...to take a family of eight on a camping trip across the USA on our way to the Far East, and then to take another trip through Europe on our way home was quite the undertaking.
Thanks...
Very good post.
It’s all part of their “Death by a thousand cuts” to take down America. Pretty soon the host bleeds to death.
It goes on 24/7 from every possible angle.
I think we all might agree, while we weren’t paying close attention, they metastisized DEI cancer into nearly every single fissure of our national brain.
The real challenge for patriots is: How do we back this truck up?
No doubt. He cut his jib as one of the primary drivers behind the illegal mRNA "vaccine" mandates which has killed and injured more people in the US Navy than the enemy has since WWII.
I suspect when the Chinese finally get around to pulling down our "woke" and collapsing Navy they may kill more even than that because of useless perfumed turds like him. Nimitz and Halsey would have kicked him out of the room if he showed up back then.
