House Intelligence chairman Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face The Nation” that more funding for Ukraine will have “overwhelming support” in Congress.

Partial transcript as follows:

ED O’KEEFE: Thanks for sticking with us. We go now to the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Ohio Congressman Mike Turner, who joins us this morning from Dayton, Ohio. Congressman- Chairman, good morning to you. Our understanding is that Speaker Johnson plans to hold a vote on funding for Ukraine aid when Congress returns a week from tomorrow. Is that still the plan?

Surprised he’s not a member of the IRI warmonger club that was chaired by John McCain for 25 years.

Where will the money come from to send to Ukraine? US Treasury has huge debt. Print more money? Burden our children and grand-children with the additional debt?

After we did that little terrorist attack in Moscow, the average Russian is all in for taking us out. Let that sink in …

I am stunned at the total obsession with keeping this war going and a complete refusal to work towards a cease fire and negotiated settlement.

Why would Putin agree to a ceasefire. He's winning. If Zelensky gives him Odessa, he may consider it.

Actually, Putin has offered to negotiate a settlement and has indicated he would prefer to.

It's not only the total refusal on the part of the Biden Administration to even admit the possibility of opening up negotiations, it's the fact that Biden has actually scuttled any attempts at a negotiated end to the war. No cease fire for Ukraine, which is losing badly and may soon be over run, but ceaseless pressure for a cease fire in Gaza where Israel is winning.

Is that the one where the women decide every issue since they are the majority of voters?

I think we might need that money to fix the bridge in baltimore. Why are we going deeper into debt, borrowing money our grandkids will have to pay back to fund someone else’s war?

How much are you getting in “campaign contributions” from the defense contractors (or Zelensky) for cheerleading the Ukrainian war, Mikey?

Yes. I don’t mind giving it to Israel, but THAT’S IT!
We give away too much, too much to foreign countries and too much to the freeloader class of citizens and non-citizens.

I wouldn’t be surprised if all of these usuals are paid Russian trolls. Americans or not. And the way they swarm on posts like this is as if they are hitting the refresh button every 5 seconds then hit the the red alarm button to signal all to pile in

The MIC needs the sales and R&D for a couple new ‘items’. Look for it to go on for quite a while, yet.

You really think any of these men will be left alive if Putin takes Ukraine?
They may but they will be working some mine somewhere and the women will be in baby making camps
Your concern is underwhelming
