Gov. Kathy Hochul said she “understands” why slain NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller’s family is “outraged,” but insisted Saturday she was never told to leave the hero cop’s wake — despite being abruptly told “his blood is on your hands.”
“I would do it again, and that’s my job,” said Hochul, defending her decision to attend Diller’s wake a day earlier on Long Island.
“We were told the family is welcoming. We always check, and they said to come, and I went. And no one told me to leave,” Hochul also told Politico during an Easter event at the governor’s mansion in Albany.

You just know someone is going to get punished for the reception she received, whether the family or fellow officers.
Male Democrats can tell they’re doing something wrong. Then they’ll say they’ll do it anyway because they have the authority. Female Democrats like Hochul truly believe that they are doing the “right” thing.

In other words, she did because it’s her job, not because she feels remorse and sadness for the family...

Cops have a real dillema. They don’t work for the “people” as they are led to believe. Rather they wind up being the street muscle for the filthy politicians who pay them while simultaneously getting them killed or imprisoned with their evil policies.

I heard Lee Zeldin was invited to the funeral. I watched, but didn’t see him.
I saw him there yesterday with Trump at the wake.
Maybe he didn't want the photo op...like Hochul. We'll see.
She’s a political whore. Trying to save money by tossing inmates out on the street so she can close more prisons. She’ll be adding to the crime. And then the money she allegedly saves will be used on useless government projects around the state in order to fill the pockets of her biggest donors, family and friends. And once everybody’s gotten their cut, the project will go bust, just like the projects her mentor Andrew Cuomo pushed on the people of the state.
