That picture of the 3 NY skyscrapers (including 40 Wall Street) with the cross lit up always gives me goosebumps. NY has fallen so far from where it used to be.

I was graduated in ‘56. I agree that it exemplified Christian America...at least much better than it does now. Christianity doesn’t seem to be accepted very well in these current times, but it must be accepted; not pushed like certain other beliefs. So glad to see that you & I must have similar beliefs & trust in Jesus as as Savior & Lord.
The NEA has surgically revised history so that the voters and the public in general have NO proper or reasonable frame of reference for what is going on in the world
I worked with a young man who knew nothing about WWII or could even ID countries’ locations on a map.
Our 35-year-old nephew is a PhD and he’s told us many times that he’s not patriotic and does not love this country. I do want to punch him square in the face his grandfather was in World War II. He passed away in 2001 how far we have fallen.
I was about 7 or 8 when I got a dose of reality about the world. Our neighbor who was Hungarian, all of the sudden, had a niece about my age from Hungary and who was learning English. She seemed to have a very sad face I’ll never forget.
My parents told me about what was happening there and how our neighbors brought her to the US with her remaining family.
I read about it (as much as I could grasp) and remember being stunned that a person had to run away from their home and leave so much behind.
I grew up in NYC/LI. You can not pay me enough to go back there. It has turned into nothing but a sh*thole.
Trump should get ‘er done with the lights.
