No, that is simply untrue. Asymmetric refers to a severe disparity of forces and the use of unconventional methods to adapt to that, not terrorism. Washington's surprise crossing of the Delaware river and attack on the Hessians and British at Trenton in a winter snowstorm at Christmas is an example. No terrorism, just courage and cleverness that saved the Revolution.
