I would argue that this is costing us in the long run. Let me explain...
The idea here is that by implementing “DIE” across major American businesses, they WILL draw criticism and detractors, thus causing stocks to dip. Planet Fitness is small potatoes. Iconic American brands like Budweiser and Boeing, brands that have stood tall for decades if not centuries are now being brought down by management malfeasance.
We stand by and cheer the fall of these organizations, but if you look at the long game, this is what they want. It’s checkmate, really: we stop patronizing these businesses, they fail, international organizations swoop in and take over. If we don’t stop, then they beat us over the head with the “DIE” and claim that we like it. It’s really very clever on their part, and I don’t know how to solve the problem long term.
The leftist elites WANT American businesses to fail whether through “DIE” or through the thousand cuts of regulation (e.g., the American automotive industry).
