New York Attorney General Letitia James appears to be gearing up to potentially seize Donald Trump's Westchester golf club and Seven Springs estate as the deadline looms for the ex-president to secure the $454 million bond in his civil fraud trial.
The attorney general formally registered judgements in Westchester County where Trump has the two properties just north of Manhattan on March 6.
According to the county clerk's online database, the judgements were registered against Trump, the Trump Organization and his two adult sons Don Jr. and Eric. The action was first reported by Bloomberg News.

Great she should have to declare the value of it. And if she sells it for more than she valued it at she has to pay a $300M fine. If she valued it lower than it sells for then she should have to pay the difference.
I hope she seizes the estate, only to find that Barron Trump has been squatting on it for six months.
If this is just collateral for an appeal, she can’t liquidate or permanently control his stuff. She doesn’t have clearance for final disposal.

Seizing major commercial properties like this makes it dangerously close to an illegal 5th amendment taking by the government as a back-door way around eminent domain and just compensation.

I’m guessing Trump has thought this through and has some plan of defense, whether it be a last minute court filing or an 11th hour procurement of the funds. At least, I hope so.

I grew up in NYC and moved out around 10 years ago, but all the time people would ask me how it was living there and I would say “It’s like living in North Korea but with food” and they would laugh, but I wasn’t kidding. It’s like living under a tyranny, everything is about the government. The city dictates what you can and cannot have right down to the last atom, determines how much money you can have, where you can live, what you can eat, drink, everything and anything is regulated, they even dictate your freedom like this woman who had the audacity to complain about someone breaking into her house........
Oh yeah and elections? Forget about elections, none of them are legit. Nobody supports the rep they are assigned like AOC. Everytime she gives a speech in NYC you’ll see people yelling at her telling her to resign yet she wins elections.
