UPDATE 3/20: The man's body found yesterday in the Highland Park Reservior may have been there more than three weeks.
A source tells Bob Lonsberry there is video showing the man there February 24.
Rochester police don't believe he committed suicide.
Meantime, Mayor Malik Evans says we may know late today whether the boil water advisory will be extended for parts of the city.
The City was told by the EPA to cover the reservoir by 2009 but was given an extension until this year.

had a relative who had to drive through ny- they were on a route that brought them through downtown Saratoga- and he said there was a parade of proud boys protesting, and that the citizens lining the streets were very hostile towards the protestors- he wasnt sure what was gonna happen, but made it through without incident luckily

Highland Park is a beautiful place and I used to take walks through it twice a week during my lunch hour. This is bizarre with the body found in the Highland Reservoir. The water for both the Highland and Cobbs Hill Reservoirs is fed it by gravity from Hemlock Lake, one of the Finger Lakes.
I agree with you AbolishCSEU that Rochester is a dumpster fire and there’s so many neighborhoods that is not safe to venture through. I blame years of incompetency and corruption in Rochester city government and New York State laws that favor the criminals such as the so-called “bail reform” that plays catch and release with criminals. I moved away from Rochester after my wife died and I retired and now live in Colorado Springs, that has its fair amount of problems as well, but is much better off than Rochester.
BLM and other leftist loons have daily protests on Main Street in front of the post office. Then at night they go into the parking garages and spray their graffiti. Saratoga Springs is now pejoratively coined "Little Nantucket" because the rich White liberals have taken it over from the once conservative locals by building million dollar condos all over town.
I grew up in upstate NY in the 50s and 60s.
It was a great place. Great public edumacation and total kid freedom.
Now the whole place is a lib hellhole.

We live between Rochester and Syracuse. Problems escalated with the first affirmative action hire as Mayor. Mayor “Grady” Johnson.
upstate isn’t too bad yet, Still pretty conservative there, BUT it IS getting worse little by little- The scenery there is breath taking really- too bad lower NY and their liberal ilk has spoiled it for those in upstate-
