Our constitution (it used to any how) protects ours from government intrusion. Read John Locke.

"Ours" is "us" ie U.S. citizens. You defeated your own argument.

As I read it, the “Ours” refers to our God given rights. Not “us”.

Its an interesting argument, God given rights vs who the constitution protects, but I do believe you have the correct interpretation. Otherwise, why have borders? Our rights would have to be protected globally. The idea is ridiculous.

not really. Right to defend ones self is inherent as a God created human. Some don’t have a constitution to protect those but they don’t need a constitution to protect them. It just might be more difficult depending on the despot or which form of government the person is living under. Anyway my state actually has a stronger constitutional guarantee.
