Beck says he helps “writes answers for testimony” of “the department’s senior leadership – basically they go over to the Hill for hearings on the department’s posture.”

I would say it is mentioned in at least two places. First of all, Babylon is an image very reminiscent of NYC and that of course is the seat of (UN) world government and also a power center for international globalism (which is perhaps what Babylon is actually meant to represent). Ukraine can be taken as the “whore of Babylon” since it is being mauled by “the Beast” of prophecy.
A second reference may be new Jerusalem. I don’t believe that there would be any need for an image of a new Jerusalem if the original Jerusalem was to be the center of the Kingdom. The prophet who saw the new Jerusalem may not have perceived he was looking at a location far from Israel because parts of the western U.S. look a lot like Judea and Samaria. But he did mention not being able to see “the Sea” (there was no more sea) which would be the case, as that part of the U.S. is a lot further from the Pacific than any part of Israel is from the mediterranean (or Dead Sea). So the prophet might have assumed he was looking at a future view of Israel.
I believe America will be restored in the Kingdom and that the disturbing, if not terrible, events of the present time are a prelude to that glorious reversal.
