One of Russia’s largest nuclear plants, in Rostov, is under attack by Ukrainian forces, according to reports.
Explosions have been heard near Rostov Nuclear Power Plant in Vologodonsk, Rostov oblast, as Russian air defense are reported to be active at the scene.
VK.com reported on Telegram: "In Volgodonsk, terrorists from all over the country are trying to attack the local nuclear power plant. Air defense works."
It has been claimed on X that drones were flying above the nuclear power plant.

There can be only one reason they chose to target a nukular plant; this will assuredly lead to Kiev glowing in the dark.
Sounds like the Western Operatives are at it again in Ukraine. Probably worth noting to them that Russia still has a few nukes left and the means the means to deliver them.
If the Ukrainian/NATO strikes actually Chernobyl Rostov, the response will NOT be on the Russian held nuclear plant in Ukraine. As Putin has been repeatedly warning, the Russians have weapons to retaliate in the NATO countries that would be responsible, including the U.S. Once the Ukes irradiate a major Russian city, multiple NATO cities will suffer the same fate. ALL of the nuclear facilities in every NATO country, including ours, can be hit anytime the Russian order is given. This incredibly stupid escalation by NATO, if successful, takes us all over and into the abyss.
Isn’t Chernobyl located in Ukraine, it’s still how from the nuclear disaster in the 80s, they’re still several active reactors at that facility.
It would be incredibly reckless for Ukraine to attack a nuclear plant inside of Russia when in a matter of minutes, a similar attack could happen inside of Ukraine with the result being chaos on both sides.
All this assumes this reported attack is true.
I only hope the Russians keep their promise.

It might be possible to avoid the disaster of Ukraine attacking a Nuclear Facility inside of Russia, I agree with you a serious attack and/or breach of a Russian Nuclear Reactor would be incredibly reckless, and the consequences are frightening.
If Ukraine starts to fall apart because of dwindling US and EU support, I can see elements inside of Ukraine getting desperate and doing something incredibly reckless like attacking a Russian Nuclear Site.
Attacking Russian Nuclear site could also be attacked by elements inside the USA, Biden is in a coma and has no idea what’s going on, he might approve of something like this, it’s like the Nordstream Pipeline which all signs point to the US doing that.
