I sometimes go through expensive Los Angeles neighborhoods I can't afford to live in.

Huge houses, surrounded by high fences. Signs that warn of video surveillance and guard dogs. And private 24/7 security guards sitting in cars outside the houses.

I didn't used to resent the rich, but I do now, at least these Los Angeles rich. Because I know they fund leftist politicians who release criminals that prey on normal folk, while they remain safe in their expensive enclaves.
