A national LGBTQ youth nonprofit group said crisis calls from Oklahoma more than tripled in the weeks after transgender student Nex Benedict died there on Feb. 8.
Lance Preston, founder of the Indianapolis-based Rainbow Youth Project, a suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization, said the group’s crisis hotline for LGBTQ young people received 1,097 contacts, including calls and online messages, from Oklahoma in February — an increase of more than 200% from its monthly average of 350 contacts.
The group received just under 1,000 of those contacts after Feb. 16, when Nex’s death began to receive widespread media attention. Of the 1,097 contacts, 87% reported incidents of bullying in Oklahoma schools.
“The high volume of contacts underscores the pressing need for intervention and support services — support services that are far too often unavailable, especially in rural areas of the country,” Preston said at a news conference Thursday hosted by the Human Rights Campaign, the country’s largest LGBTQ advocacy organization.

As the girls entered a women’s bathroom — which Benedict was legally required to use thanks to a 2022 Oklahoma law requiring public school students to use the restroom for the sex they were assigned at birth — Benedict threw water at them from a water bottle he was carrying.In response, Benedict said the three girls started physically attacking him, grabbing his hair. After Benedict shoved one of the assailants into a towel dispenser, “they got my legs out from under me, got me on the ground, and started beating the shit out of me,” he told the officer.
So, this chick pretending to be a guy started the fight and got her ass kicked for it. What's the outrage for?
Isn't "suicide prevention" now passé since assisted suicide is considered a "human right" by the left?

LGBTQ is a mental health crisis. A crisis which is fed, intentionally, by the left.
Because of a false narrative pushed by the press. She started the fight by throwing water on someone. And, her autopsy stated no evidence of blunt force trauma. Eventually, the autopsy results (toxicology maybe) will expose the false narrative but by then it will be too late as most will believe the MSM's false "fairytale".

Is NBC still trying to politicize this story? They all but ignored Laken Riley, and want to push this? Has the official cause of death been given?
The reality is that people with gender dysphoria have a severe mental illness and commit suicide at very high rates, in excess of 40% over time.
These people need mental help, not unnecessary surgeries and hormone drugs to feed dollars into the medical-pharma-industrial complex.
They are also highly, aggressively violent in many instances.
How many transgender mass shootings have we seen over the past few years? I've lost count.
