Installing it will be a US declaration of war against Israel, to which we can expect a massive military response. I wonder how the Jewish Senator Schumer will react to this neo-Nazi move. After all, we were only able fully to support Operation Overlord after we installed or restored one or more deepwater ports on the English Channel and north thereof. I applaud your cynicism. I did this stuff once - 5 decades ago. I was told that I was planning the first LOTS operation since the Korean war. A joint British/US task force pretended to do a landing/resupply op at Ft. Story, VA.
Much of it was rote. But I learned a lot, especially from the USMC whose special jigs, etc had not ever been assigned an FSN. [and damn, the Brits had discontinued their rum ration!]
