The Constitution says that federal crimes have to be tried in the state or district where they were committed. If the crime being charged was committed in the District of Columbia, the trial has to be held there. The District votes democrat 95% of the time, that’s a shame if you are a Republican.
I suggest splitting up the DC circuit, reappointing the judges, and moving both parts far away from the DC jury pool.
