She recently said:
“I said earlier this week that no matter what happens in South Carolina, I would continue to run for President. I’m a woman of my word.”

They (at ABC) can’t really believe that, can they?

Major Trump rival? I think the math is that she’s gotten 8% of the delegates or so...

Yep. She humiliated herself the longer she stayed in and she will never recover.

That’s like saying the Carolina Panthers were a rival to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Vermont won only because of the dem monkeywrenchers.
This is why there should be a ban on “Open” Primaries.

Nimarata will not exit gracefully. She will read a list of grievances against Trump that will warm the hearts of GOPe and RATS alike before saying that while she is suspending her campaign, she is not going anywhere because she needs to continue being the voice for the millions who supported her and do not agree with the current climate. Her final graceless act will be to announce that she has formed a new PAC to support like-minded House and Senate candidates and will spend the remainder of the election year working to get them elected and building the kind of party she knows is the right one for America’s democracy.

As long as political parties (Which in reality are private organizations!) ask the state to pay for primaries you will see these ridiculous open primaries. The advantage for the party is they get the taxpayer to pay for the candidate selection process. Additionally, it gives the parties a chance to sabotage the other through crossover voting.
