Schiff and Garvey headed to November ballot for coveted California Senate seat
Los Angeles Times ^ | March 5, 2024 | Laura Nelson

Concluding California’s most competitive Senate primary in a generation, Rep. Adam B. Schiff of Burbank and retired Dodgers player Steve Garvey will square off in November to represent the Golden State in Washington.

After months of close campaigning, the results were definitive: The Associated Press called the race for Schiff less than half an hour after polls closed, and at about 9 p.m. for Garvey. The other Democratic challengers, Rep. Katie Porter of Irvine and Rep. Barbara Lee of Oakland, were running in third and fourth place, respectively.

Schiff, Porter and Lee campaigned for more than a year to replace the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who had represented California in the Senate since 1992. Garvey, a former Dodgers All-Star, entered the race in October.

About to pop open a celebratory beer! To note the libs claim that Porter would have won if Lee dropped out. But in fact the combined vote of these c-ts would still have lost to Garvey. By contrast Garvey would be leading the pack if his votes were combined with next top GOP candidate. Hasta la vista Katie Porter and Barbara Lee!!

He’s expected to lose in November but he’ll bring some excitement to the race. Schiff owns his own lies.

Garvey will hopefully solidify the few house seats in the Central Valley that are hanging by a thread. One of those top clowns voted to impeach. Still we’ll need that fella.

That’s exactly how i see it. We need a GOP senate candidate to turn out GOP votes in the critical House races. The liberal Dems must hate Schiff for running all those ads for Steve.

Enjoy the beer, but with the total dem vote adding up to 62%, don’t plan on celebrating a Garvey victory in November. It’s still Kalifornia.

Garvey’s no prize, but anyone’s better than Schiff. Literally, anyone’s better.

” Now if Garvey can stomp Schitt in the runoff...”

Not in the Calif democrat machine. Not a chance.

Far too corrupt.

agree on all-Dems lefties will bury Garvey in advertising and gear up “people of color vote”

CA is a state where “people of color”, are now about 60% and block vote for Dems-same as nationwide , Blacks vote 90%+ Dem, Hispanics 70/30 Dem, Asians now 75/25% Dem- that is what drives the Dem vote in CA and most blue states, the white liberal are only 15% of the vote and is pretty much a myth, that the MSM uses to divert attention.

What I wonder. Does the left start the bimbo explosions NOW, or do they wait until closer to the election?

Watched only a few minutes of the debate recently, and
Garvey wasn’t too bad during the part I was able to review.

Schiff’s Representative’s district had Hollywood in it.

I think he was a big favorite down on Santa Monica
Boulevard, the Homosexual neck of the woods.

I can’t with any credibility. He’s married with two kids.

I know, that is sometimes used for cover, but I don’t think
he is. He does have that look to me, but I think it’s
more that he is the kind of guy that would cater to them
all the time.

He’ll probably get 100% of the segment’s vote.
