The flight was delayed and suddenly a group of eight or so “standby” passengers filled every empty seat. Obviously African, nobody spoke English, new clothing and electronics, and the one seated next to me had evidently never experienced a shower and soap in his life. “I think they’re a tour group,” the FA told me. Right.
How is this not a criminal violation of immigration laws?
