“God may have withdrawn the Holy
Spirit from these people.”

God didn’t withdraw the Holy Spirit from them; the Holy Spirit never resided in them. They never had been saved.

Their decline into debauchery is where they’ve gone from simple sinners due to original sin, to a worse place, and God just “gave them over to a reprobate mind”. There is no hope for them.

Good only comes from one source.

If people are being decent, it’s for only one reason.

I understand your thought. I’m not sure I can go as far as
you do about them not ever having the Holy Spirit in them.

If children are compelled to do good, that doesn’t mean
they are saved. It means there’s a good force within
them, and we hope that will motivate them at some point
to learn more about Jesus and accept His sacrifice.

Not trying to be argumentative. We can disagree. No
problem.
