How would Krugman 'feel' if a million journalists from some foreign country came here and were willing to work for ten bucks an hour in newsrooms across the country? Then not only taking Krugman's job and the jobs of his friends, but also raping the mothers and daughters of friends - - of Klugmans' friends?
My suggestion?
Send 3000 illegals to Krugman's neighborhood. Throw in some MS13 thugs - and a sprinkling of Venezuelan street gangs. And remove the kiddie whore houses from his area that 'elites' use. (Sorry Krugman, but raping a 6 year old costs a lot of money because the kids 'spoil' quickly - so kiddie whore houses are for 'elites' - do the math Krugman)

I’ve never acknowledged Krugman, or Galbraith, as real economists. It’s ok to venture outside standard economics, but it’s just not economics. The same goes for Karl Marx. His “labor theory of value” was simply wrong. The mountain of anti-capitalism hate he built upon his faulty foundation was not economics. These men get their celebrity status as leftists, not as economists.
I think Art Laffer’s curve was a positive addition to economics. Supply-side economics is no worse than the Demand side emphasis of J.M. Keynes. Why not consider both supply and demand? What could be more obvious to an economist?
In general, macro-economics is speculative. The same goes for cosmology (physics) and evolution (biology). It’s ok to speculate. Just know that you are speculating. From time to time, tell others that it’s just speculation.
Misses was a great economist. He could barely keep a job as he was opposed to socialism. Left-wing frauds receive the plaudits, awards, titles, and high-paying jobs. A recent case in point, Michael Mann.

a pogrom is a pretty reasonable extreme case for what we are seeing. it could take years/decades, a change of system of government, and extreme economic/social stress before it reaches that point.

it is, in the end, a rather novel solution to the age-old problem of having a population that will not suffer your team to remain in control after completely wrecking the currency/ecomomy. get a new population!
