They told him to wear shorts and sandals. He thinks the reason why is because they wanted to put him in an orange jumpsuit and humiliate him.

If that what they want to do, I don’t guess it really matters what he wears, it’s just more clothing to keep track of.

He wasn’t object to the fraud, he was covering the protest as a journalist. Along with 60 OTHER journalists, none of the mainstream of which have been charged with anything. This is just petty tyranny on the part of the DOJ & FBI. He’s got a great case to take to the Supreme Court.

In some cases it is merely some one who is nominally “pro Trump” being in the capitol that day. But people have been convicted who weren’t even in the capitol, they just happened to belong to the same organization as someone who was or posted something on social media that linked them to J6.

There are numerous threads here and stories on conservative news sites detailing these political persecutions.

If you are looking for logic or consistency, you won’t find it. For DC juries, the mere accusation is sufficient proof and the prosecutors and judges know it.

Feds were taking a page right out of the playbook of Nazi judge Roland Freisler. He had most of his defendants come into court wearing shabby clothing, without belts or suspenders. Defendants had to keep holding their pants up.

Our government is on a path paralleling that of the Nazis in so many ways.

Thank you for that explanation. I figured there was probably something like that vs they just wanted to be helpful and make it easier to change into an orange jumpsuit later on in the day. Someone else wrote on another thread yesterday shorts and sandals would also make it easier to stress him when they dump him into a freezing cold room for hours before interviews.

One of these days, the FIB is going to pull one of their publicity stunt, middle-of-the-night arrests meant to embarrass and intimidate, but it will backfire.

It will be like the scene from Leon/The Professional in which the corrupt DA says, “Send me everyone!” But then that one man gets the upper hand on everyone.

What will the FIB do when they send scores and scores of agents to a place and none return?

The actions of the FIB are sending a message but not the one they intend. They demonstrate that they are liars, cowards, and criminals who do not deserve respect or cooperation from free citizens.

I used to have the utmost respect for the FBI, but somewhere along the way, they became corrupt. There may indeed be many lower-level workers seeking to do honest work, but the poison at the top of the organization has ruined the entire entity.

I am surprised they didn’t request he wear khaki pants like the fed “U-Haul supremacists.”

He had been a U boat captain, I think, before becoming a pastor and later being arrested for confronting Hitler.
