Hunter Biden Only Remembers One Thing About Meetings He ‘Can’t Recall,’ And It’s That His Dad Wasn’t Involved
Daily Caller ^ | February 29, 2024 9:57 PM ET | REAGAN REESE - WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT

President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, noted that he could not recall information about his business dealings at least 29 times during a closed-door deposition with House Republicans Wednesday. What he could remember, as he explained to members of Congress, was that his dad was not involved in any of his foreign business ventures.

Hunter Biden appeared for a closed-door deposition with the House Oversight Committee as part of House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry into his father. The first son agreed to testify in front of Congress after previously defying a subpoena in January. Hunter Biden repeatedly appeared to contradict himself throughout the testimony and seemed to have a faulty memory.

Despite having the president’s son behind closed-doors, the transcript failed to produce any significant, new lines of inquiry for Republicans desperate to find a smoking gun in the palm of the president.

“I am here today to provide the committees with the one uncontestable fact that should end the false premise of this inquiry: I did not involve my father in my business, not while I was a practicing lawyer, not in my investments or transactions, domestic or international, not as a board member, and not as an artist, never,” Biden said in his opening statement before going on to note that he “did not recall” information about certain business meetings.

At one point Hunter claimed that he never involved his father in business deals, but then later admitted that he put Joe Biden on speaker phone in front of some business associates, according to the transcript of the deposition.

“Rob Walker testified that there was a meeting at the Four Seasons with Ye Jianming, your father, and you were present as well, was his testimony,” a member of Congress asked Hunter. “You don’t recall that?”

“What was the date of that meeting?” Hunter responds.

“He could not recall the date of the meeting,” the congressional member answers.

“Yeah. And I do not recall the date of the meeting,” Hunter adds.

Other lapses and contradictions in Hunter Biden’s deposition centered around foreign business affairs, the transcript shows. Hunter Biden claimed that he never “fully read” an email sent to him from James Gilliar, who detailed the equity structure of the Oneida Holdings joint venture with CEFC, a Chinese Energy company, the testimony shows. In the email, according to the committee, Gillar appeared to suggest that Hunter hold 10% equity for “the big guy.”

Despite claiming now that he didn’t read it, Hunter Biden responded to the email and did not push back on the suggestion to give “10% for the big guy,” the committee notes in a press release.

When asked if the “big guy” was referring to his father, Hunter continued to insist that his father was not involved in his dealings.

The first son claimed to have no formal association with Rosemont Seneca Bohai despite receiving payments from Burisma into the Rosemont Seneca Bohai bank account, according to the committee. Devon Archer, a previous business partner of Hunter Biden’s, testified that the first son was the corporate secretary for the company.

“He also said that you were the corporate secretary of Rosemont Seneca Bohai,” a Congressional member asked Hunter. “Is that incorrect?”

“The corporate secretary?” Hunter responded.

“Yes, sir,” he followed.

“I didn’t even know that there was such a thing,” Hunter hit back.

Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz once pushed Hunter Biden over a meeting between his father and Vadym Pozharsky at Cafe Milano, the transcript showed.

Hunter Biden could not remember the exact date of the meeting and engaged in a back and forth with Gaetz over the definition of a meeting.

“What Vadym is talking about is that, the night before, he attended the World Food Programme dinner at Cafe Milano. My dad came to that and stopped by to say hello to people that were there that he had a longstanding relationship with. Vadym was one of the people sitting at the table, and he said hello to them. They did not have a meeting; they met, which is a very, very important distinction with a difference,” Hunter said.

When the conversation pivoted to CEFC, Hunter denied that his father ever benefited from any of his business deals.

“My father never made any decisions as it related to my business to benefit me. My father was never financially, nor any other way, of benefit from my business,” Hunter said as he was questioned about his involvement with CEFC.

The first son and his business partners first started working with CEFC when Biden was vice president to former President Barack Obama. Hunter and his colleagues, however, did not receive payment from CEFC until the vice presidency had concluded, documents previously showed.

State Energy HK, a company linked to CEFC, sent $3 million to Walker in March 2017 and Walker then gave $1 million to the Bidens, according to bank records.

“All I know is this: My father was never involved in any of my business, ever,” Hunter maintained, despite failing to remember many moments he was asked about. “Never received a cent from anybody or never benefited in any way. Never took any actions on behalf in any way.”

Henry Rodgers contributed to this report.

Amazingly, the Democrats and MSM (one in the same?) will use his BS testimony as proof that the investigation into FJB is just political. The investigation has to be dropped because the lying, cheating, thieving, whoring, adulterous, incestuous Hunter Biden has more credibility than the investigators, because the investigators are partisan Republicans . . .

His defense is that he is an idiot and a drug addict (when it is convenient to be a drug addict). There are many people in prison who have failed to avoid punishment with this type of defense.

Hunter seems to have joined his daddy in the “dementia club”. The apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree it seems.

When questioned about shaking down a Chinese moneyman, Hunter admitted that he was “high or drunk” when he sent the “sitting here with my father” threat.....but he said he sent it to the “wrong recipient”........

But wait a sec......within 10 days of Hunter’s threat, the “wrong recipient” sent the Biden accounts $5.1 million from the Chinese firm CEFC. (This was confirmed by a 2020 report by Republican-led Senate committees.)

Is there no end to the Biden lies to cover-up their treasonous activities?

Hunter’s politically flexible “addiction defense” is only mentioned when it has a political “bonus” for the many scrapes Hunter created for himself.

His addictions only heighten concerns over Hunter’s corrupt global influence-peddling. When foreign figures were giving him millions of dollars, Hunter admits that he was a crack addict and alcoholic, writing in his memoir that “Drinking a quart of vodka a day by yourself in a room is absolutely, completely debilitating” as was “smoking crack around the clock.”

Keep in mind, Hunter was no hapless gutter-junkie snatching purses to feed his addiction.
<>he is the son of the most powerful man on the globe
<>he was flying around the world mooching off taxpayers on Air Force Two,
<>he had a tax-funded Secret Service detail
<>he was vacuuming up $millions selling dad’s influence
<>he was allegedly distributing the money to various Biden family members
<>he was organizing a labyrinth of shell companies, LLC accounts, money laundries
<>he was selling out America left and right.
<>he was undermining the safety and security of American families.

Hunter’s still in denial but more amenable to testifying and answering sensitive questions
b/c the name of the Biden game is to get Hunter charged with as many federal crimes as possible.

That’s so when daddy wields the pardon pen Hunter will
become close to being “a member of the human race.”

Temporarily.

SARs are vital documents that financial institutions must file with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) when they suspect any cases of money laundering or fraudulent activities.

Rep. James Comer says six banks, including JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo, submitted over 170 suspicious activity reports to the Treasury Department regarding the Biden family, alleging their involvement in money laundering, human trafficking, and tax fraud.

The American banks also raised concerns about wire transfers received by the Bidens from foreign state-owned entities, notably from the Chinese government, allegedly for the purpose of money laundering and tax evasion.

The foreign wires were found to be directed towards Biden’s business associates before being funneled through 20 shell companies associated with the Bidens. Subsequently, the funds were distributed among various Biden family members.

American banks have submitted hundreds of suspicious activity reports on the Biden family, alleging their involvement in human trafficking, money laundering, and tax fraud.

Congressional investigators have obtained bank account records and wire transfer statements on twenty shell companies owned by the Bidens, which were allegedly used for laundering illegally obtained money from China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Kazakhstan as unregistered foreign agents.

This evidence is supported by hundreds of thousands of emails, tens of thousands of text messages, photographs, audio recordings, calendar statements, and ten years of data from Hunter Biden’s laptop, which the FBI took into its possession in 2019.

@MarcoPolo501c3 published a comprehensive “Report on the Biden Laptop,” documenting 459 alleged crimes involving the Biden family and their associates, including 140 business crimes, 191 sex crimes, and 128 drug crimes. A $1,000 reward is offered for any verifiable corrections, but thus far, no crimes have been disputed.

A Senate report from September 2020 titled “Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns” reports over $5 million was sent to two Hunter Biden-related firms by the Chinese firm CEFC in early August 2017, which turns out to be just days after Hunter Biden sent a threatening WhatsApp text message on July 30, 2017 to Chinese business associate Henry Zhao that claimed Hunter’s father Joe Biden was “sitting here” with him.

The WhatsApp message was revealed as part of a package of IRS whistleblower statements and evidence released by the House Ways and Means Committee.

“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my directions. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”

On August 8, 2017, Northern International Capital, a Chinese firm affiliated with CEFC, transferred $5 million to Hudson West III. This venture was co-established by Hunter Biden and Gongwen Dong, an associate of CEFC. On the same day, Hudson West III transferred $400,000 to Owasco, P.C., an entity owned by Hunter. Within a span of a few weeks, a series of transfers took place, culminating in Sara Biden, sister-in-law to the President, writing a $40,000 check to Joe Biden, labeled as a “loan repayment.”
