Measles can be DEADLY and also cause all kinds of problems; yes, even for children! You may not have known anyone, as a child, who had a serious case; however, NOW YOU DO...ME!

Obviously since you are posting measles was not deadly to you as you are not dead. You do not list what issues you have so how am I supposed to make an informed decision on the vaccine benefits?

No, not everyone gets such a severe case of measles, as I had, but I knew other children, in the 1950s who did have severe cases.

I had a neighbor growing up who contracted measles in the 1950’s when he was 8 years old, which resulted in a lifelong intellectual disability. He had normal intellect until then, but after contracting measles, his brain never developed beyond the intellect of a young child.
