“Putin’s Russia can’t even defeat a country 1/20th their size after 2 years, LOL”
Very poor analogy to use here. The U.S. spent about 14 years in Vietnam and lost then spent over 20 years in Afganistan and lost.

Besides the obvious differences between Vietnam and American involvement in Afghanistan, I wouldn’t say US lost either war, we just quit

Seems like Soviet er ah Russian victory will end up much like their involvement in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Syria and Georgia

Additionally while perhaps stopping Ukrainian joining NATO and EU, they now have Finland and Sweden , something that never would have happened without putins invasion.

The toll on Ukraine has been harsh, the toll on Russia is also, just better insulated from ethnic Russians.

In the end don’t see this as much of a win for the Russian people, maybe putin. Will be interesting to see where this leads

And in two years in Ukraine, the Russians have lost more men than the US lost in Vietnam and Afghanistan combined over that 34 year period.
