With No Fed Fix, Migrant Influx Squeezing Big U.S. Cities

The aftermath of a record-high influx of migrants coming into the country via the southern border is straining budgets in some of the nation’s big cities — and putting pressure on the federal government to chip in.

An analysis from S&P Global Ratings found that of the 100,000 immigrants Texas has transported since 2022, 84% were sent to Denver, Chicago and New York.

Denver, which has more migrants per capita than any other U.S. city, has tapped into 2024 saving and is pulling at least $5 million from its budget to cover services for them — with more reductions likely, Axios reported.

The “fix” is deport all of the illegals, and arrest the people who are paying them and giving them shelter and cover.
Tribunals are what we need. What they are doing is treason.
I know Trump will deport them. There was an article that people involved are going to leave the country when Trump is elected.
Something about a screen door and where the good Lord split ya?

When Obama was in office he was secretly dumping his "sons" into small towns where there were no services for the illegals.

Abbott and other red staters are actually doing the illegals a favor by helping them get to large cities where translators can help them communicate and there are plenty of empty office towers in which to be housed and fed.

The plan is to make things so bad that we beg the feral government to come fix it in return for our complete subjugation.

100,000?!?!?!!!

Oh noes!!

Since 2022 -- i.e., moving into the fourth year of the Texas transport gambit -- Texas has shipped to leftie sanctuary cities the equivalent of 2-3 weeks of the arriving flood of illegals. (10,000/day=35,000/week) And the libs are wetting their pants while still defending open borders.

Ok, two years not four. But the point stands.

Maybe we should move NYC and Chicago to the Mexican border, build a wall north of them, and let them absorb 5 million a year.

Think it’s bad?
Wait until Nov when 15-25 million (of the 60 million MIVs already here) line up in the voting places...

Soros may end up with more voters for the communist ticket than the total adult legally voting citizen population...

Obama’s fourth term is, apparently. a lock...

It was impossible when I was 18 for a healthy, work-capable, 18-year-old male to get any government aid except for student loans and Pell grants.

Quotes from the 1951 Refugee Convention:

Article 23 - Public relief

The Contracting States shall accord to refugees lawfully staying in their territory the same treatment with respect to public relief and assistance as is accorded to their nationals.

Article 17 - Wage-earning employment
....
2. In any case, restrictive measures imposed on aliens or the employment of aliens for the protection of the national labour market shall not be applied to a refugee...who fulfils one of the following conditions:
(a) He has completed three years’ residence in the country;
....
(c) He has one or more children possessing the nationality of the country of residence.

Article 34 - Naturalization [and getting the right to vote (and buy AR-15s)]

The Contracting States shall as far as possible facilitate the assimilation and naturalization of refugees. They shall in particular make every effort to expedite naturalization proceedings and to reduce as far as possible the charges and costs of such proceedings.

NOTE: I do not trust any politician who has not called for invoking Article 44 to get the US out from under the Refugee Convention.

And my distrust extends to Trump and DeSantis.

I’m beginning to think only corporations should pay tax: share taxes, sales privilege tax, income tax, payroll tax, real property tax, inventory tax, etc.

The corporations want these people and the corporations should pay for them - 100%: K-12 schools, EMTALA care, PPACA subsidies, SNAP benefits, etc.
