Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam and leftism.

And while the upper ranks of Hollywood still mostly consist of white men, the creative talent was fed to the sharks leading to the likes of Disney’s Bob Iger overseeing a sinking DEI ship.

I enjoy watching young people reacting to the music I loved. I love the music of the 70’s. They are being introduced to music they have never heard. It is fun to watch their reactions to a bands and singers and styles of music they had no idea existed. And it’s fun and interesting to watch British people as they are introduced to the American Revolution. Many had no idea that our war of independence was against Britain. I enjoy watching people being introduced to new things and experiences.

YouTube us more entertaining than network TV these days

Yes. And you can learn a lot. I watch shows about real life stuff, like Matt's off-road rescues. Good clean stuff about his family rescuing stranded off-road vehicles. Then there are videos about how-to stuff regarding carpentry, crafts, and electronics. Also historical stuff. And music history. List goes on and on for lots of entertainment value. No fags or woke stuff for me.

I spend 90% of my time on YouTube. I’m paying the $18/mo to get rid of the ads, which is actually great (and I hate subscriptions).

I spend a lot of time on YouTube. I would hit the mute button on commercial ads. Not so bad when they were 15 or 5 seconds each. But lately very annoying, because they can be 30 seconds and longer now. I'm thinking of paying to get rid of the ads, because they are so annoying and break the flow of content. We were paying for Amazon Prime and liked it because it was ad-free, but now they are showing ads despite us paying for the subscription, so we're going to cancel Amazon. I'll pay not to see annoying ads!

Dvd players are Cheap

And some of the older DVD players have no copy protection on them, allowing you to port the content to other devices for copying. One of them is Liteon. (Legal disclaimer note: you're allowed to make a backup copy for yourself and not do anything else.)

It’s true for me, I prefer to watch pre 2000 reruns. Pretty much Anything after 2000 always has a social justice message.

2020 not 2000 although those are good too. It’s the filming quality that gets me.

Sopranos S4 ep3... ruined the show. Total DEI BS... Even had Howard Zinn History of America pointedly shown in the sons hands, and he is supposedly going to a military academy. I turned it off. It is my first time watching this series, but if there were anything good being made I wouldn’t have made it this far. BoardWalk Empire is great a 95/100, Sopranos is 70/100.

What is good old TV, is Rockford Files, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond. PLUS many more.

In 2022, Amazon had spent $500 million to buy the rights to Tolkien’s world in order to produce a woke multicultural version of “The Lord of the Rings”, but twice as many people watched “Seinfeld” reruns (not to mention “The Great British Baking Show”) as “The Rings of Power”

If we think WOKE shows suck - just look at the WOKE commercials that are vomited out of Madison Avenue...

It wasn’t really woke until late in the second season. A great show up until then. After they started in with all the homo crap I stopped watching, even though Ted, Roy, Rebecca, and Beard are some of the best characters to ever grace the TV screen.

I’m quite surprised nobody here mentioned Heartland (referenced in the article). It is a really clean, wholesome show in its 15th (?) season. You don’t have to be a horse person to love it.
Then again we are horse people who have watched the entire series 3 times already…
