It’s interesting that the cell phone outages mainly affected the eastern US. I wonder if the solar flare hit when that part of the earth was facing the sun. I wonder if there were similar coincident outages in Europe, UK, Greenland, Iceland, Newfoundland, Labrador, etc.
That is not true. The states effected were: Texas, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Alabama, New York and Massachusetts. What do those states have in common? Anything besides the outage?
