ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — A federal judge on Wednesday affirmed a $5 million arbitration award against MyPillow chief executive Mike Lindell in favor of a software engineer who challenged data that Lindell said proves China interfered in the 2020 U.S. presidential election and tipped the outcome to Joe Biden.
Lindell said he plans to appeal. Asked if he can afford to pay, he pointed out that the breach-of-contract lawsuit was against one of his companies, Lindell Management LLC, and not against him personally.
“Of course we’re going to appeal it. This guy doesn’t have a dime coming,” Lindell said.

He offered a reward of $5 million for something, and a guy was apparently able to meet the terms of that reward.
I wish these well-meaning dopes like Lindell and Sidney Powell had never fixated themselves on the voting machines in 2020. The machines were never the problem. All the evidence points to voting machines working just fine while they counted potentially millions of illegal ballots.
Of course it’s the machines.

"Electronic voting machines" are more accurately described as "electronic vote counting machines." In my precinct, for example, we use paper ballots that are then fed into a machine that automatically records and tallies the votes.
This distinction is important because: (1) any "vote-flipping" that is done by the machine would show up as a clear discrepancy between the machine count and a hand count of the paper ballots; and (2) if the problem identified in Item (1) is overcome in the election-rigging process involves running fake/fraudulent/illegal paper ballots through the machine, then there is no need to have the machine do anything other than operate correctly.
Except he wasn’t punished for expressing an opinion, wrong or otherwise.

Lindell offered a $5 million reward through Lindell Management for anyone who could prove that ‘packet captures’ and other data he released there were not valid data ‘from the November 2020 election.’”
Someone accepted his challenge and succeeded. If he had made a challenge to clear the Grand Canyon on a motorcycle a la Evel Knievel and someone had done so, that cyclist would be entitled to the prize and if Lindell had reneged he could pursue that prize in court.

I would have no confidence in any election process that only involved machines and computers without any paper ballots. Mike Lindell and Sidney Powell were chasing a ghost ... hence the abject stupidity of silly fake news like computer servers in Germany, hacked computers, and that bizarre "Kraken" that never materialized.
Those who weaponize the law have assaulted the very essence of the American republic.
