Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) hit back at former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Monday after he said she needs help “to straighten out her life” last week, twisting the insult into a fundraising pitch.
McCarthy went after Mace on Tuesday in a Capitol Hill visit. The pair have feuded after she was one of eight GOP members who voted to oust him from the Speakership in October.
“I hope Nancy gets the help she needs, I really do,” McCarthy told reporters. “I just hope she gets the help to straighten out her life. I mean, she’s got a lot of challenges.”
“No one will stay working for her,” he continued. “You can’t have somebody who just flips and flops based upon what TV station she gets put on. You want someone who’s willing to work, and so I hope she gets that kind of help.”
Mace admitted that she does need help, but not in the way McCarthy thinks.
“Kevin McCarthy just can’t help himself as I am living rent free in his head. He got one thing right, however; I do need help,” she wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “I need your help to fight back against the corrupt DC establishment and their handpicked puppet.”
“He put our majority at risk. He lied to the American people,” she said in the fundraising video. “He couldn’t even hold his speakership because he’s a loser.”

When will people like McCarthy realize that they are no longer wanted nor needed in the new GOP leadership. If they don’t like it, just join the Democrats.

McCarthy is a real worm. He looked that way before he was deposed, and now we know it’s a fact.
Trump endorsed McCarthy instead of several candidates with a fiscal conservative record. He has in fact endorsed many lifetime rinos. Mo Brooks and Matt Rosendale. The rinos that were elected are dedicated to a lifetime of democrat bipartisanship.
Trump says they couldn’t win…. Is the guy back east pulling his strings too? Kari Kakes recording is telling you that your budget. Military and values don’t have a place in their party. They will but rinos until our destruction is complete ecause they are getting filthy rich off of it.

McCarthy certainly is a vindictive, America-hating little bitch.
Mace didn’t come out of the starting gate very well, IMO, but she has wandered slowly to the right over time.
I think her move to the right is sincere. I hope I’m right.
Nancy Mace vs Kevin McCarthy is like Iran vs Iraq.
She was always there originally but got CO-OPTED by McCarthy, then she became establishment now she’s back to her roots after falling out with them.
It’s so confusing for anyone following her including me.

No. Mace is backing Trump for the obvious reason that she’ll win reelection on his coat tails. In 2022, she won her first race on Trump’s coat tails and then immediately stabbed him in the back for J6. She’s a self obsessed wacko. I saw her last week at Trump’s rally in North Charleston. She got a very cool reception.

I’m not so sure that backing Trump helps her in her district. I was suprised he did. Her district, which you may know, is purple, not red.
