There are several ways of seeing his mating strategy as admirable.
- from the pov of increasing the population, which is suffering from a dearth of native births;
- from the pov of human breeding, in terms of raising the quality of the population. This is a man whose bloodline we want carried on. And he chooses exceptional (if sometimes eccentric) women to do it with.
And he is also of course a sinner, but heck, making babies is far from the worst sin.

If any/all of his kids inherit his genes for logic and being pro-freedom, then I’m comfortable with 11 more of them in the world. They’re good for our country.
