I went back and rewatched the Bradley testimony because it was so confusing. But I couldn’t find the testimony or event that caused the state’s attorneys to suddenly turn against him. What was it? They obviously decided he was a liability and tried to destroy him.

“I couldn’t find the testimony or event that caused the state’s attorneys to suddenly turn against him. What was it?”

I don’t know, but it was clear. Obviously, the guy has a lot of sh!t that can bring down Fani & Nate.

Toward the end, something was said that put in to question all of Bradley’s statements about “privilege” between him and his client (Wade). It was subtle. But then (IIRC) the judge said something like he’ll have to decide whether a lot of what Bradley claimed during his testimony was privilege wasn’t really. (I think I heard this right. It was subtle.)

Anyhow, if those issues he claimed were privileged were NOT, this could erupt. He may have to go back and be asked all those questions and actually answer them.

I just learned today that Judge McAfee used to work under Fani in the DA's office before she was DA. He's between a rock and a hard place. He probably should have recused himself but he didn't.

And I wonder what he thinks of her since yesterday she barged in and treated him like a little boy by commandeering his courtroom (and embarrassing him in front of the entire nation).

Whatever he might have thought of Fani before, he despises her now.

The judge has to be exhausted.

Particularly after being completely castrated by Fani when she took over his courtroom yesterday.

“WOW, Willis’s defense had NO good reason to attack Bradley. His testimony was NOT as detrimental as it could have been. Willis’s defense team STUPIDLY opened a can of worms regarding privilege. Willis’s team wanted Bradley to have privilege in matters favorable to them but they encouraged him not to claim privilege in matters favorable to them.”

I agree with that point. Bradley’s testimony was questionable at times and it WAS obvious he was lying and was trying to protect Willis. However, he did very little damage to Willis’ defense. Apparently her attorneys KNOW that he knows even more and that the judge picked up on that fact. Therefore, they had to attack his credibility.

I think the judge was becoming irritated at the State’s attorneys constantly calling objections due to “privileged” information, but then abandoning that position when they wanted him to bolster their side. I don’t think the judge will buy their tactics.

Also, it is possible that their actions will piss him off so bad that when he speaks to the judge in chambers, he will spill his guts to the judge and admit he was between a rock and a hard place due to threats by Willis. Remember, he knows the judge personally and professionally so he may ask the judge to “get him out of this jam”.

The State took a witness that was on their side and gave him reason to abandon that position and move to the middle or even to the other side.

When that attorney, Ms. Cross, began her questioning of Bradley, she was loaded for bear. I’m thinking, “WTF”? He was as helpful to Fani as possible, and I couldn’t believe the attorney took that posture.

Like you, I hope he’ll spill his guts to the judge while in camera and this case will implode dramatically.

“I took a nap right before he finally showed up. Wow. They did a number on that guy...”

They certainly did. I left to make a quick dollar store run for the usual cleaning supplies, tissue, etc at around 2:30 because I thought that the hearing was about over and Bradley was almost a worthless witness giving points to neither side due to the constant objections and discussions over privilege.

Wow, was I shocked when I returned 45 minutes later to find Bradley on the stand with his reputation being tore to shreds by the very attorneys who were fighting to protect him when I left just a few minutes earlier.

It’s obvious that all the attorneys KNOW what attorney Merchant was told by Bradley in a conversation which at the time seemed private and just “gossip” and therefore meaningless. I bet they all know what was in that text thread regardless of what they told the judge because Bradley had showed it to them in trial prep.

All the State’s attorneys do not want the judge to know of that complete conversation or for it to be on the record. Therefore, they suddenly turned on him and attacked from all sides. He was clueless and did not expect that attack from “friends” who were so nice to him just earlier today. He made the mistake of thinking they were all on the same side. Bradley thought he was cooperating with his friend’s attorneys and never expected the attack. The attorneys are on THEIR own side (and Fani’s at the moment) because they are part of the “get Trump” crew. Willis could be abandoned if it becomes expedient to do so.

Bradley didn’t want to “cross that bridge” (I believe that was the phrase used in a text message of his) of betraying Fani because it could cost him his law practice and money. He knows that Willis is spiteful and could destroy him in the legal community in Fulton County. Instead, he was the one betrayed.

Just my 2 cents.

“Particularly after being completely castrated by Fani when she took over his courtroom yesterday.”

He warned her a couple of times. It was her decision to ignore him. He even called a 5 minute break for her attorneys to advise her that she wasn’t doing herself any favors (it was not for her to cool down). Yes, he could have charged her with contempt of court, but can you imagine the headlines!?!!!?

I think the judge decided if she was stealing the rope, he couldn’t do much to stop her from hanging herself.

Nope, it was better to just let her ramble on, be belligerent, combative, and ignore the judge’s instructions, and he will take that example of her lack of professionalism under advisement when making his final decision. Willis’ attitude, in all her bright pink glory, made the front page rounds of alternative news sites and all social media instead of video of a white male supremacist on the front of the WaPo and playing repeatedly on MSNBC trying to shut up a “strong black woman”. The judge made the correct decision.

For those of us who missed it, at about the 6 minute mark is where they threw him under an Abrams tank and rolled it back and forth over him...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxNDSOUH91w

6:22 you recall answering questions as though you left due to a disagreement?

6:29 Yes. Yes.

6:34 And that disagreement was that there was an allegation of sexual assault by an employee made against you. Correct?

6:40 That is incorrect.

6:41 There was not an allegation that you assaulted us, that you sexually assaulted one of the employees in the firm.

6:52 That is incorrect.

But yes, yes, there was navigation that you sexually assaulted a member of the firm. Correct?

7:06 Yes, there was an allegation. Yes.

7:07 And as a result of that allegation, you left...”

That was quite a manipulation of the question and the facts, wasn’t it? It ranked right up there with “it depends on the meaning of ‘is’”. I said to myself “What? What was his response?” Now the media can use one part of his answer to manipulate the entire exchange.

I noticed Bradley was quick to answer when the question favored himself or Willis, but he really, really, really had to think when the truth shed a bad light on either of them. And that is when he really looked horrible.

I am thinking the Fani lawyers are trying to get Judge McAfee to base his ruling against Fani on client-privilege grounds, so they have a appellate issue.

I believe the Judge is too wise to fall into this trap. Yesterday’s testimony was enough to sink Fani.

Bradley better be careful.

Accidents happen.

Never know when one might accidentally back their Tesla into a pond.

The judge made the correct decision.

Nonsense. The court is his ship and he is the captain. This is his domain.

No judge willingly loses control of his courtroom.

BTW, he has an election coming up this year.

They know that Bradley knows...the truth. And, they were afraid the judge picked up on that. Therefore, he had to have his credibility destroyed. I think they made a bad decision because that was about the time the Judge decided he and Mr. Bradley needed to speak in chambers so the Judge could determine how much of Bradley’s knowledge was based upon attorney/client privilege and how much was known by personal friendly interactions.
