The elephant in the room on that story was that Gina Haspel was CIA station chief in the U.K. at the time the Steele Dossier was being put together. That should have put a huge red flag on her nomination to head the CIA when Trump was in office.
Robert Barnes said over a year ago that Trump kept the goods on some of the intel agencies when he left the White House and that THIS is what they were really after the whole time. They raided Mar A Lago and found......nothing. :^)
Trump was too smart to keep the dirt he has on them at his home. They obviously did not get it.

Mike Pompeo had the role before Haspel, so he hid the CI-A’s role in it as well.
John Brennan was always the central figure of Russiagate, and he gave Haspel her big break appointing her to director of the National Clandestine Service. Brennan, along with Obama DNI James Clapper and a host of other deep state spooks pushed for her confirmation as CIA Director. Wonder why?
