Trooper Robert M. Burney was a 27-year veteran of the New York State Police

A state trooper has died as a result of cancer caused by toxins at the World Trade Center collapse site, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page.
Trooper Robert M. Burney was assigned to search and recovery after the attacks, according to the page. He died on Dec. 9, 2023, at 57 years old.
Burney had served with the New York State Police for 27 years, according to the report. He was survived by his mother, two brothers, a sister, a longtime companion and four nephews.

Anyone remember Christie Tard Whitless, I mean Whitman - when she was administrator of the EPA under Backstabber Bush - telling the rescuers the air was safe? Funny how that’s never mentioned at all.
On September 18 2001, the EPA released a report in which Whitman said, “Given the scope of the tragedy from last week, I am glad to reassure the people of New York and Washington, D.C. that their air is safe to breathe and their water is safe to drink.” She also said, “The concentrations are such that they don’t pose a health hazard”
I’m absolutely not shocked that our government lied to the rescuers in the 9/11 tragedy. As my tagline presciently predicted, “First, we beat the Soviet Union. Then we became them.”
If you ever watched the series “Chernobyl”, the Soviet response reminds me a lot of the US response to 9/11: Send in a bunch of sacrificial lambs and get control of the disaster.
We owe an apology to the Soviet Union. We became a lot more like them, than I would have dreamed. My first clue that things were rotten, was when they lied to my face about the TWA Flight 800 crash over Long Island, in which 1800+ witnesses saw a missile streak towards the jetliner.... but the authorities insisted it was a ‘center fuel tank’.
That made me grow up quick.

Truth be told the vast majority of rescuers weren’t wearing breathers. I noticed because in my job silica is a concern and I wear one every day. I was amazed seeing these guys on that rubble maskless. The only other person who noticed was a NY Post reporter who asked they why they weren’t wearing masks. The answer was that they were too uncomfortable over many hours…which is true but…damn.
I am not saying that working the World Trade Center did not cause his cancer, but millions die every year from cancer that never worked the site, and 23 years of living after 9/11 and getting cancer is not that unusual
Here is one of my favorite, remember the big, pun intended, silicon breast implants are killing women … story, if you researched the conclusions the negative physical outcomes for these women of all illnesses was minuscule. If same was applied to drugs there would be zero available including aspirin

Times have changed. Governments have refined their oppression. No longer does any country (presently) perform mass killings of non-military citizens, not directly anyways. Not even Russia.
What they do (and will do much more of) is censor, cause great inflation to impoverish you, perhaps even freeze your accounts or deny you services based on your political leanings, like China does today.
No, it is not the murder of millions, but it is miserable and oppressive still.

For such a great country, our so called leaders rate in the bottom 20%, and that will kill our Republic. Can't survive what Mayorkis is doing, or how DA's are letting criminals off. The country cannot survive this level of insanity.
Great point, if only there was a government safety organization like OSHA..... And the reverse of this is mandating masks for covid that don't work. Bib government getting bigger brings more stupidity, we're going downhill, nobody is stopping this.
