The hearings after the fact. Two years later. It was only after watching the unedited films of the disaster at hearings that he became visibly shaken. The feds were seeing the same films as the perfect display of the consequences of crossing the state. A big authoritarian commercial with a big FU as well.

Musk is in a much better position than Carlson. Musk makes missles that our DOD needs and will soon own worldwide telecommunications with Starlink.
His bargaining position with the security state is a lot better than Carlson’s, who has nothing to trade.
OTOH, Carlson is just an annoyance to them. He doesn’t really have much real power. He has the ability to influence people who have already checked-out of Team-Post-Modern-American.
Only heaven or the IMF (Impossible Mission Force) could intervene on behalf of someone standing between HRC and high political office.
As well-informed as Kennedy was about DS assassinations, he might well have engaged the IMF.
