All of which will fail and sooner rather than later at that, assuming they don’t catch fire first and incinerate a bunch of school kids.

What a bunch of fools. The county is about 50 miles from the coast. What is going to happen to these buses when they get inundated with water from a hurricane?

Electric vehicles are a scam. A big scam pushed by cronyism.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH, We need a Nationwide Mandate prohibiting all Public Employee’s and Officers of the Court to exclusively use and EV or mass Public transportation for ALL Travel, maybe it should be a FELONY for them to even Own or Use an ICE powered vehicle.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

And so what happens in the first fire that torches the bus and kills the driver and a bunch of kids?

The saltwater mist during a nor’ester or hurricane blows out transformers. The storm of 1991 certainly did.

But hey, who doesn’t love a yellow school bus?

Raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus.

Many of our friends rode the yellow school bus.

The school bus takes us there.

They should have built pedals at each seat. The kids could pedal and generate electricity to power the bus. A plus is that the kids would get exercise while traveling.

....towed by powerful diesel engine tow trucks and started with jumper cables from families’ gas engine SUV’s.

A thrilling day.

Update:

The first four battery fires were put out in about two hours but spontaneously restarted and burned the garage down.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚑🚒🚑🚒🚑🚒🚑🚒

P.S. How could 168 buses cost $65.9 million? Gold plated door handles?

That comes out to almost $386,904 per bus.

I wonder where the extra money is going?

This guy is an outstanding voice of reason in his skewering of the EV hoax. In the link below, he discusses electric busses:

LINK: EV Electric Buses are a "SCANDALOUS waste of money" | MGUY Australia

It is only about six minutes long, but he lays it out very well.

They should have taken the money and bought efficient, reliable ICE buses.

I know the Dems would say "that's not what the money was for"!

My response would be "you Dems set this precedent when you spent COVID funds to house illegals. Embrace the Suck."

If it goes to court, good. Maybe we'll have a little less pork being doled out to support liberal causes...

Per ChatGPT:
The cost of a new Bluebird school bus can vary depending on several factors such as the model, size, features, and any customization options. As of my last update in January 2022, a new Bluebird school bus could range anywhere from $80,000 to over $100,000 or more for larger models with additional features.

If my math is right, that’s over $392,000 per bus. What a deal! Thanks Brandon.

Extension cords and jumper cables? Democrat slush funds.
