Sounds like a roundabout way to give friendly courts the justification they need to allow the US Military to take control of the Texas State Militia and similar state-run militias, which is necessary as we move into Full-Fascism phase of America.

About TXSG

Texas State Guard

The Texas State Guard is the state defense force branch of the Texas Military Department. Tasked with providing first response and civil defense force capabilities during Texas disasters and emergencies, the Texas State Guard is the premier state defense force in the United States.

From the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster to coordinating food and shelter for hundreds of thousands displaced during Hurricane Harvey- the men and women of the Texas State Guard have repeatedly proven themselves, earning the respect of fellow Texans.

The Texas State Guard is geographically organized to provide rapid response to support joint task forces and civil authorities on missions statewide. The Texas Governor is the Commander-in-Chief.

The men and women of the Texas State Guard embody the spirit of public service, veterans, and professionals from all walks of life, as were the soldiers of Texas' earliest volunteer units. Today's Texas State Guard is a highly trained military force serving Texans – for the love of Texas.

Headquartered at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, the TXSG functions as an organized state defense force under the authority of Title 32 of the U.S. Code and Chapter 437 of the Texas Government Code.
