“God has assigned to every man the duty to protect the dignity of every woman.” Although I think this quote is much older, it is attributed to John Paul II. But whoever first said it, it is right on the mark. Men act in the most manly fashion when they set out to protect the dignity of every woman, despite how these women may choose to present themselves. Aim for the stars guys - even if we don’t reach them, we won’t exactly come up with a handful of mud either…
While I respect JP II, I would have to reject the duty/burden of "protecting" the dignity of people who are not subject to my authority.
No imposition of "duties" without the recognition of authority.
