They never forgave the Russians for abandoning Communism.

The fifth column maybe. But not the fourth estate.

I would love to know exactly what it was that made the Democrats flip from being Russia lovers to Russia haters. It happened at some point during the Obama years. They completely reversed how they treated Russia. They went from Hillary’s reset button and Obama’s hot-mic flexibility to Putin being the #1 bad guy. The change was so stark and so sudden that there must have been an event that precipitated it, something that happened behind the scenes, it would seem. Maybe someone will write a book one of these days that reveals what it was.

“Not one inch east of the reunited German border” in NATO’s leadership’s own direct quotes (lots!).

https://nsarchive.gwu.edu/briefing-book/russia-programs/2017-12-12/nato-expansion-what-gorbachev-heard-western-leaders-early

Do you think the Uke citizens would like to have all of eastern Ukraine back like was agreed to in the Minsk Agreements or what was on the table in Istanbul? The globalists and their Kiev Quislings will leave a rump Ukraine if necessary as long as there’s one dollar worth of graft left to be had.

It is so interesting that you were "corrected" by a supposed "Moscow Times" statement. Sounds like Moscow, huh? But in reality, The Moscow Times is run by Stichting Potamos, in the Netherlands.
THE MOSCOW TIMES is a trademark and brand of Stichting Potamos, Amstelveen 1182 GR, NETHERLANDS. This trademark was filed to EUIPO on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Are there third world conditions in Ukraine and Russia? Surely so. There are third world conditions in parts of Democrat-run inner cities here in the US. And all those tent cities and homeless encampments? Also without indoor plumbing.
It comes back, in part, to Democrats.... Like the wacky Democrats running America's foreign policy in the moment. Or in the case of Eric Adam's NYC, "chocolate" also. Or Breed's San Francisco. "Chocolate." And Bowser's DC. Chocolate. Or that 2014 Nuland-Pyatt adventure during the reign of a "half-chocolate...."

“LOL, sure, because no country and its people would rationally want to join the EU and its better standard of living.”

Yes, they could be living on the streets in tent cities with no running water like the EU and the United States have.

I’m glad that Carlson interviewed him. Putin sure does like to twist a lot of things about the history of Europe in a way we typically see Russians lie and try to justify what they have done. The Russians are greatly feared by their closest neighbors to the west and their actions of 2014-2024 have only cemented this further for decades and possibly centuries to come. The unfortunate situation now is that Russia is a nuclear power and they are hell bent on spending lots of money and lives to keep Crimea and their land bridge thru the Donbas. It will cost trillions of dollars, hundreds of thousands of lives, and risk nuclear war to ensure that Russia is expelled. At the same time he’s risking a lot to try to hold firm as his “special military operation” is extremely unpopular in Russia.

What’s needed IMO is an Armistice and then a return to Diplomacy towards trying to resolve this mess.

Putin’s reputation 100 years and 1000 years from now will be terrible and well-deserved. For the rest of his life he will continue to be a pariah on the international stage. But I doubt he’ll ever face real justice. His nuclear arsenel and the West’s long history of not being prepared to deal with him has assured that.

The Ukraine has been part of russia since 800.. hmm, so Putin is Russia's Abe Lincoln, just getting back a rouge section of the mother country?

I believe Russia saw nato putting missiles in the Ukraine, akin to china putting missiles in mexico.

Putin is protecting his country

Russia has upset the WEF money chain and must be stopped. and american tax payers are footing the bill

The Nazi army in Ukraine under Zelenski were wiping out the Russian supporting people in the Donbass
Putin stepped in to annex the Donbass and stop this
I know all of the history. This is now

I watched the Putin interview and even though it's very much from the Russian perspective, I found it quite informative.
Do I trust Putin?
No.
But.
He is making a lot more sense than anyone I heard from the West.
Why don't we have a leader or spokesperson who can clearly lay out the reasons for the Ukraine war, why we are pouring billions in money and weapons into a corrupt state, corrupted by us BTW, what do we hope to achieve there and why?
The West is drowning in information but important data is false or missing. I have felt the information vacuum for a long time. The west better step up and lay out a coherent case, clean up their own mess or lose the world even if they win the war.
Also, CIA has always been a disrupting force, it can not be trusted to build nations.

He is making a lot more sense than anyone I heard from the West.

The palpable fear from the globalists and zeepers (I repeat myself here) says it all as the other side is finally allowed to speak.

Tucker's twitter account of the interview has surpassed 110 million by this morning.

Hard for the intelligence agencies to control the narrative when the new media is more watched...

Right! Scenes like that with Democrats sucking up to the Russians, to the point where it was almost embarrassing. Can you imagine the Dems acting like that nowadays? During the 2008 campaign Obama mocked McCain for wanting to be firm with the Russians. He zinged him with that line about the ‘80s calling and wanting their foreign policy back. Can you imagine that kind of sentiment from them now?

And it wasn’t just at the superficial level. It was big policy stuff like Obama betraying Czech and Poland by removing missile defenses in order to please the Russians. Obama doing unilateral nuclear stockpile reductions to please the Russians. Hillary helping facilitate a major sale of uranium to the Russians.

Then a few years later they’re surveilling Trump claiming he’s conspiring with our ultimate enemy the Russians. It just is very odd and has never really been explained.

TC interviews his hero right after Prigozhin and the Wagner Group. Gets a gift from Putin: the captured watch of a Ukrainian military man who was liquidated in Mariupol. He can add that to his collection of gifted Wagner paraphernalia.
