I come to you this evening, to address the files I was not
legally able to remove from the White House, and my years as
a Senator. I made mistakes, but I need to reassure you that
these actions, although technically an infraction of our
nation’s laws, are not the same as the volumes of documents
that Donald Trump took when he left office. And some of
those documents included information on our national defense
most sensitive secrets. Trump belongs in prison. There’s
no way that the infractions I made reach that level, and
that is why I was not charged with any violations of US
documents issues.
